The plugin works with Twitter Bootstrap tabbed panels only.

It simply transforms its structure, so when the browser window is resized or the page is accessed from a mobile device, the tab panel reverts to a simple carousel slider.

In case of browsers with disabled JavaScript, the tabbed panel degrades gracefully to an accordion panel.
