SYDNEY-Apple grabbed the ' small ' victory in the battle of global patent to Samsung, after the Supreme Court of Australia extend the ban on sales while Samsung Galaxy tablet computers in the country.

Battle of the two companies that currently have filed lawsuits in 10 countries. Courts in several countries, including Germany and the Netherlands, has issued a decision in favor of Apple.
"It's a coincidence that the latest Samsung product much like the iPhone and the iPad, from hardware to form a user interface and even packaging," Apple said in a statement.
"This sort of blatantly copying the wrong and, as we have said several times before, we need to protect the intellectual property of Apple when the company stole our ideas," he added. (tyo)
