While most mobile development frameworks utilize JS as a base for their code, MonoCross brings the same tool to .NET and Mono environments.

It combines lots of modern technologies (including HTML 5) to produce apps that render the same on Android, BlackBerry, Windows Phone, Symbian, Web OS and iOS devices.

MonoCross allows coders to write one single application code, but deliver platform specific interfaces. This way, the most time consuming tasks will be adapting the GUI, instead of re-writing the app code for every platform.
